I'm a fully qualified counsellor with a BA(Hons) degree in Humanistic Counselling Practice from the University of Nottingham and have been working in the counselling sector since 2009. I volunteer as a counsellor in a respected and well-established charitable counselling organisation and have considerable experience working with a wide range of clients and their issues.
I endeavour to create a safe, comfortable and calming environment to give you the space to openly express your feelings and concerns in a way that may otherwise be difficult to do with family and friends. Through our therapeutic relationship you will have the opportunity to look at your own thoughts, feelings and behaviour from another perspective and to inititate personal change and growth.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I am bound by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
During our initial session we will discuss general data protection regulations. Before we begin working together we will discuss and sign our contract and general data protection regulations information.
